Hello everyone, this is the Dardion team, and today we’ll discuss an important project. It was launched recently, but hundreds of thousands of users have tested it and significantly profited. It seems like a fairy tale in such a market when Trump is ruining everything everywhere. But it all turned out for the best!
What is Initia?

Initia is an innovative blockchain project that combines Layer 1 and Layer 2 technologies to create a scalable and flexible platform for decentralized applications (dApps). The project is based on the Cosmos network and allows developers to create customizable rollup chains called “Minitias,” which can be adapted to user needs.
Key Features of Initia:
- Multi-chain architecture: Initia combines Layer 1 and Layer 2 technologies, ensuring high scalability and flexibility for dApp developers.
- Interoperability: Thanks to the Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC) protocol, different rollup chains can easily interact with each other, ensuring seamless data and asset transfer.
- Support for multiple virtual machines: Initia supports EVM, WasmVM, and MoveVM, enabling developers to use various programming languages and tools for creating dApps.
- Enshrined Liquidity Economic Model: Instead of traditional Proof of Stake, Initia uses the Enshrined Liquidity mechanism, where liquidity denominated in INIT tokens is staked with validators to ensure network security and functions as multi-chain liquidity.
- Vested Interest Program (VIP): Initia has implemented the VIP program, which programmatically distributes INIT tokens to create economic alignment, encouraging all ecosystem participants to care about the project’s success.
Initia Team and History

Founders of the Project
Initia was founded by two former employees of Terraform Labs:
- Stan Liu — Princeton University graduate, previously researched MEV (Maximum Extractable Value) at Terraform Labs.
- Ezaan Mangalji (alias Zon) — University of Pennsylvania graduate, worked as a software engineer in various Web2 startups, and also developed smart contracts at Terraform Labs.
Both founders left Terraform Labs before the collapse of the Terra/Luna ecosystem in 2022, after which they focused on developing a new blockchain project that would address the fragmentation issues and complexities in existing networks.
History of Creation
After leaving Terraform Labs in 2022, Liu and Mangalji began working on a new project initially focused on decentralized finance (DeFi). However, after the FTX collapse, they decided to shift the direction towards blockchain infrastructure. Their goal was to create a platform that would simplify the development and deployment of decentralized applications, eliminating the existing fragmentation and complexity issues for developers.
In October 2023, the project exited stealth mode, announcing preliminary funding from Binance Labs. In February 2024, Initia raised $7.5 million in a seed funding round led by Delphi Ventures and Hack VC, with participation from other investors, including Nascent, Figment Capital, and A.Capital.
Funding and Support

Initia has received support from several well-known investors:
- Binance Labs — provided initial funding in October 2023.
- Delphi Ventures and Hack VC — led the seed funding round of $7.5 million in February 2024.
- Other funding participants include Nascent, Figment Capital, Big Brain, and A.Capital.
- Among angel investors are prominent figures in the crypto community, such as Cobie, DCF God, and Celestia co-founder Nick White.
The raised funds are directed towards the development of Initia’s infrastructure, expanding the ecosystem, and supporting developers creating applications on the platform.
INIT Token and Its Tokenomics

INIT is the native token of the Initia project, serving key functions within the ecosystem, including securing the network, governance, and incentivizing participants.
Key Functions of the INIT Token:
- Network Security: INIT is used for staking with validators, contributing to decentralization and network security.
- Governance Participation: INIT holders have the right to vote on protocol proposals, influencing the project’s future direction.
- Transaction Fees: INIT is used to pay for transaction fees within the network.
- Incentivizing Participants: The token is used to reward developers, validators, and other participants in the ecosystem.
Initia officially launched its mainnet in April 2025, introducing the INIT token. Below are the current metrics and information about the project’s tokenomics.
Current INIT Metrics (as of April 28, 2025)

- INIT Token Price: ~$0.65 USD
- Market Capitalization: ~$97 million USD
- 24-Hour Trading Volume: ~$226 million USD
- Circulating Supply: ~148.75 million INIT (14.88% of total supply)
- Maximum Supply: 1 billion INIT
- All-Time High (ATH): $0.953 (April 25, 2025)
- All-Time Low (ATL): $0.599 (April 24, 2025)
INIT Tokenomics
Total Token Distribution:
- Total Supply: 1,000,000,000 INIT
- Circulating Supply: ~148.75 million INIT (14.88%)
- Locked Tokens: ~78.12% (781.24 million INIT)
- Next Unlock: ~2.5 million INIT (0.25%) scheduled for May 24, 2025
Price Forecast for INITIA (INIT) for 2025–2050

2025 Forecast
According to CoinCodex, the INIT token is expected to reach $14.02 by May 23, 2025, representing a 228.04% increase from current levels. However, technical indicators suggest a bearish market sentiment, despite the high “fear and greed” index at 72 (greed).
2030 Forecast
By 2030, significant growth is expected for INITIA. CoinCodex estimates the price could reach $19.16, reflecting a potential return of 348.37% from current levels. This growth is driven by an anticipated increase in token demand and the expansion of the project’s ecosystem.
2040–2050 Forecast
Long-term forecasts for INITIA from 2040 to 2050 remain speculative due to high volatility. We prefer not to make any predictions to avoid giving false hope.
Why Investors Are Interested in INIT?

Innovative Architecture: Layer 1 and Layer 2 Integration
Initia combines Layer 1 and Layer 2 technologies, enabling the creation of scalable and interconnected blockchains. This simplifies the process for developers to launch specialized blockchains with features like native stablecoins and multi-chain bridges.
Simplified Development and Improved User Experience
The project aims to eliminate the fragmentation issues in the multi-chain ecosystem. Initia provides a unified infrastructure, allowing developers to create scalable and sovereign blockchain systems, while simultaneously improving the user experience.
Support from Leading Investors
Initia has attracted significant attention from top investors in the crypto industry. In September 2024, the project raised $14 million in a Series A round, bringing its token valuation to $350 million. Earlier, in February 2024, the project raised $7.5 million in a funding round led by Delphi Ventures and Hack VC.
Proven Activity and Scalability
During the public testnet that ended in 2024, Initia demonstrated high activity, recording over 125 million transactions and nearly 3 million unique wallets. This highlights the project’s potential for scalability and attracting a broad audience.
Experienced Team with a Strong Technical Background
The project was founded by former Terraform Labs employees with deep expertise in blockchain development. The team consists of around 40 people, including specialists from major tech companies like Meta, Apple, Amazon, and Google.
Future Prospects and Plans
Since the launch of the mainnet in April 2025, Initia has shown active development and significant investor interest. With planned token unlocks and further ecosystem expansion, the project remains a promising one to watch and analyze.
Conclusion

The combination of Layer 1 and Layer 2 solutions that allows developers to easily launch and scale their projects is something the industry was missing. Add to this the support from top investors like Binance Labs and a solid team with experience from Terraform Labs, and you realize that this is not just “another blockchain” — it’s a truly powerful tool for the future.
But hey, with Trump’s volatility, even INIT could be impacted, so don’t forget to DYOR (Do Your Own Research) and NFA (Not Financial Advice)!
